The JV Boys Volleyball team opened their regular season on the road at the Knights of Thomas Dale. The Lancers had a lot of big plays but ultimately were doomed with mental errors, mostly stemming from a very young and inexperienced roster.

Seth Duncan led the Lancers with 7 kills, while Rene Molina had 4 kills and 4 block. Rising 8th grader had 4 kills and 4 digs. Setter Luke Krausse had 8 assists, a kill and an ace. While rising freshman Brandon Schoeb added 5 assists. Michael Sorensen was a perfect 8 for 8 in services.

Manchester's next match is Tuesday, August 30th, home versus Cosby.
